I’m Daniel Whitfield, the writer behind Australia Develops. I’ve bought property and land across Australia, built a home from the ground up, and worked through the whole process first-hand — from finance and contracts to construction and holding costs.
By background I’m an accountant, so I tend to read a development the way I’d read a set of accounts: the numbers, the risks, and the costs that don’t show up in the glossy listing. I’m not a real estate agent and I don’t sell property — which means I’ve got no listing to push. It’s just practical experience and my own research.
